Luke 2. 41-51
Every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the Feast of the
Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up to the Feast,
according to the custom. After the Feast was over, while his
parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in
Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it. Thinking he was in their
company, they travelled on for a day. Then they began looking for
him among their relatives and friends. When they did not find him,
they went back to Jerusalem to look for him. After three days they
found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers,
listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard
him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. When his
parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him,
Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have
been anxiously searching for you. Why were you searching for me?
he asked. Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house? But
they did not understand what he was saying to them. Then he went
down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his
mother treasured all these things in her heart. And Jesus grew in
wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and men.
Reflection:
I
wish you a happy new year; God may very much bless you and help
you. Gospel passages give us new meaning for the New Year
reflection. Child Jesus is missing in the temple. Maybe in the new
year we think I am missing Jesus in my life. What we do, we go to
church. It means to go to the sacraments.
Finally Joseph and Mary find Jesus in the temple, because they
were searching. I can take a good decision for this year, and I
will specially focusing on my spiritual life.
I
wish you a nice prayer meeting,

John 2. 1-11
On
the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus'
mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been
invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said
to him, They have no more wine. Dear woman, why do you involve me?
Jesus replied. My time has not yet come. His mother said to the
servants, Do whatever he tells you. Nearby stood six stone water
jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each
holding from twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants,
Fill the jars with water; so they filled them to the brim. Then he
told them, Now draw some out and take it to the master of the
banquet. They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the
water that had been turned into wine. He did not realise where it
had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew.
Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, Everyone brings out
the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests
have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.
This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed at Cana
in Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put
their faith in him.
Reflection:
Jesus first miracle he had done in the house. The man was totally
upset; he did not know what will do. Mother Mary saw the
difficulty of the family and told to Jesus. Jesus had done a
miracle in that house. Maybe we are also hoping for a miracle in
our life. We can ask the help the mother Mary. She is our loving
and beloved mother.
Some times we feel what is the way? But don’t be worry, Jesus said
I am the way, life and truth.

Luke 18.15-17
People were also bringing babies
to Jesus to have him touch them. When the disciples saw this, they
rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, Let
the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the
kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth,
anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child
will never enter it.
Reflection:
“Let the children come to me and not stop them because the kingdom
of God belongs to such these.” We must have one aim in our life to
enter the kingdom of God. How we can enter the kingdom of God - to
be like a child.
1. They are very happy inside and out side.
2. Not hiding anything.
3. They are very open.
4. Pure heart and pure mind.
5. No worry about tomorrow.
6. They are totally trust their parents.
In my life I have a good experience when children pray God will
answer very soon.
So my dear brothers and sisters I wish you a nice prayer meeting
and we can ask for the special blessing and grace.

Mathew 22.34-40
Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the
Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested
him with this question: Teacher, which is the greatest commandment
in the Law? Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your
heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the
first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love
your neighbour as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on
these two commandments.
Reflection:
We all know the value of the great commandment, but when we
practice this some times we find some difficulties. How we can
solve the difficulties and have better practice it. So we need
very deep vision of our life. God is our loving father and we all
are the children of God. Our loving father is always helping us,
and he takes care of my life. When we have this feeling deep, it
is very pleasant way to love God.
And all are my brothers and sisters-this feeling will be deep. We
can very happy to love others, so we need a grace from God.
Today’s prayer meeting, we can specially ask for this grace.

Markus 6.30-34
The apostles gathered round Jesus and reported to
him all they had done and taught. Then, because so many people
were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat,
he said to them, Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and
get some rest. So they went away by themselves in a boat to a
solitary place. But many who saw them leaving recognised them and
ran on foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them. When
Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them,
because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began
teaching them many things.
Reflection:
My dear loving brothers and sisters.
These Bible words give us very nice reflection for our prayer
meeting. The Apostles came and explained everything what they had
done in the Name of Jesus. Jesus told them “Come away by
yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while”. We can observe
two main points by this reflection
(1) The apostles did wonderful work in the name of Jesus
(2) come and rest.
Resting with Jesus and in Jesus, we are not only recharged; we
absorb Jesus’ heartbeat.
So by prayer and silence we can receive the great power from Jesus
and we can work for the kingdom of God.

wish you a joyful and fruitful prayer meeting

Markus 8.34-38
Then he called the crowd to him
along with his disciples and said: If anyone would come after me,
he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For
whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his
life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for a
man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Or what can a
man give in exchange for his soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and
my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man
will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with
the holy angels.
Reflection:
The main and absolute objective of discipleship is to follow Jesus
and to be identified with his mission, his teaching, and his
values. It is to be able to say, like St. Paul. “I live, no longer
I, but Christ lives in me” (Gal 2.20). The trademark of Jesus is
the cross; without the cross there is no Christ. Once a disciple
decides to follow and to be faithful to Jesus, and therefore lives
his life according to the values and virtues of the kingdom, the
disciple by that very choice choose to against the way of the
world.
So my dear brothers and sisters we can look what is attitude of
cross in our life, we have a cross in our life situation. We can
ask the grace to take the cross and follow Jesus in a right way.

Luke 15.8-10
Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses
one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search
carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her
friends and neighbours together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have
found my lost coin. In the same way, I tell you, there is
rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who
repents.
Reflection:
Dear brothers and sisters, very interesting insights revels by
this parable.
The lady had lost her coins. Only one aim is that she had to find
the lost coins. Three actions characterize her response
(1) She lights the lamp
(2) sweeps the house
(3) searches carefully.
When she finds the coin she rejoices and calls her female friends
to celebrate with her. By this parable high lights there will be
rejoice in Heaven when the sinner repent. So how can be make a
good confession? The light of the Jesus teaching we have to look
into our life, and by his precious blood we have to wash our life,
we look our life what mistake I had done, then make a good
confession by the grace of God. The result will be happiness in
heaven and our personal life too.

Mark 1.14-19
After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming
the good news of God. The time has come, he said. The kingdom of
God is near. Repent and believe the good news! As Jesus walked
beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew
casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. Come, follow
me, Jesus said, and I will make you fishers of men. At once they
left their nets and followed him. When he had gone a little
farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a
boat, preparing their nets.
Reflection:
Jesus said the right time has come, turn away from sins and
believe the Good news. By this words Jesus telling to all mainly
two things
(1) Turn away from sin - we have to look ourselves about our life,
am I still in sinful situation, maybe most of the time we are
looking to others and judging others,
2) believe in the Good news - believe in Jesus teaching and his
mighty providence in our life.
As Jesus walked along the shore of Lake Galilee he saw the fisher
men. Jesus said them “come with me, and I will teach you to catch
the men” – we all have the mission to the catch the men to the
kingdom of God. How it will happen? To be with Jesus and He will
teach us.

Mathew 6.1-6
Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to
be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your
Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce
it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on
the streets, to be honoured by men. I tell you the truth, they
have received their reward in full. But when you give to the
needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is
doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who
sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray,
do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in
the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell
you the truth, they have received their reward in full.
But when you pray,
go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is
unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will
reward you.
Reflection:
My dear loving brothers and sisters,
now we are entering the Lenten season, in order to prepare the
holy week. It is really wonderful preparation time in our life
journey, to know how is going our inner journey and to renew our
life for the kingdom of God. Jesus is our loving father. He is
always mercy to us, waiting for us with his compassionate love.
Very unconditionally he loves us; it is a very permanent love for
us. Today’s gospel reading points out there are two points
(1) do good things for others
(2) prayer life.
I
would like to say that for my reflection to do good things for
others, it is basically to be good for others. How can be good for
others? Some times instead of showing deep understanding and love
we express sometime very strong judgment. So it is the time for
looking others through the eyes of Jesus, and does good help for
others.
Secondly it is time for growing more in our prayer life. How we
can grow in our prayer life? I always keep in my mind our beloved
mother Theresa of Calcutta. Her words “silence produce prayer,
prayer produce faith, faith produce love, love produce service,
service produce peace.”
I
wish you very nice Lenten time and joyful prayer meeting

After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming
the good news of God. The time has come, he said. The kingdom of

Repent and believe the good news!
Reflection:
Now we are in the Lenten season, really it is the very great time
for our spiritual season to grow more in Jesus and have a time to
renew our spiritual life. Suppose if we have a flower garden, time
to time we will give good manure for the wellbeing of the plant.
And we never forget to give water to the plant, so we have hope
the good flower or good fruit from the plant.
Today’s bible word gives us very touching insight for our
spiritual life. Actually it is the right time (Lenten season) to
renew in our life, how we can achieve our life more in a spiritual
way –
TURN AWAY
FROM SIN AND
BELIEVE
THE GOOD NEWS.

Bible word Mark
9.2-10
After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led
them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was
transfigured before them. His clothes became dazzling white,
whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. And there
appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with
Jesus. Peter said to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here.
Let us put up three shelters- one for you, one for Moses and one
for Elijah. (He did not know what to say, they were so
frightened.) Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice
came from the cloud: This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!
Suddenly, when they looked round, they no longer saw anyone with
them except Jesus. As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus
gave them orders not to tell anyone what they had seen until the
Son of Man had risen from the dead. They kept the matter to
themselves, discussing what rising from the dead meant.
Reflection:
Central to the Christian faith is the belief that glory can only
be achieved through the cross. Yet Christians often react
negatively to suffering. They want happiness without the cross.
Jesus and his disciple have the wonderful experience on the top of
mountains, they were praying, they heard the voice
“This is my beloved son. Listen to Him”. What is this message
convey to our life – in our daily life we are hearing many bad
news, but Jesus is bringing the good news for everybody, “I am
with you” “don’t be worry” “I will give you a new heart and new
mind” etc. We can listen his voice and can think in a positive and
graceful way.
Wish you a pleasant prayer meeting.

Jesus called his disciples to him and
said, I have compassion for these people; they have already been
with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send
them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way. His disciples
answered, Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to
feed such a crowd? How many loaves do you have? Jesus asked. Seven,
they replied, and a few small fish. He told the crowd to sit down
on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and
when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the
disciples, and they in turn to the people. They all ate and were
satisfied. Afterwards the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of
broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was
four thousand, besides women and children. After Jesus had sent
the crowd away, he got into the boat and went to the vicinity of
Magadan.
Reflection:
My dear brothers and sisters,
Jesus miracle speak us good insight for our life.
People
came to hear the word of God, it is very empty place, but Jesus
made the miracle for the people. Some times we think how it will
possible in my life, but believe and trust in God, God can make

Jesus is answer for the spiritual hunger, only Jesus can give us
the unconditional love, his friendship never break up,

John
5.17-30
Jesus said to them, My Father is always at his work to this very
day, and I, too, am working. For this reason the Jews tried all
the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but
he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with
God. Jesus gave them this answer: I tell you the truth, the Son
can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father
doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the
Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your
amazement he will show him even greater things than these. For
just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so
the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. Moreover, the
Father judges no-one, but has entrusted all judgment to the
Son, that all may honour the Son just as they honour the Father.
He who does not honour the Son does not honour the Father, who
sent him. I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes
him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has
crossed over from death to life. I tell you the truth, a time is
coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the
Son of God and those who hear will live. For as the Father has
life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in
himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the
Son of Man. Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when
all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out-
those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have
done evil will rise to be condemned. By myself I can do nothing; I
judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to
please myself but him who sent me.
Reflection:
Jesus answered them “My father is always working, so I am at
work”. My dear loving brothers and sisters we all need joy and
happy in our life, but sometimes we are very sad and unhappy mood,
the reason that we have so many questions in our mind some
questions we have no answer this will block our joy. But Jesus
gives the right answer for all our questions, my father is always
working so I am at work.

John
10.31-42
Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to
them, I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For
which of these do you stone me? We are not stoning you for any of
these, replied the Jews, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere
man, claim to be God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in
your Law, 'I have said you are gods'? If he called them 'gods', to
whom the word of God came- and the Scripture cannot be
broken- what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very
own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of
blasphemy because I said, 'I am God's Son'? Do not believe me
unless I do what my Father does. But if I do it, even though you
do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and
understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father. Again
they tried to seize him, but he escaped their grasp. Then Jesus
went back across the Jordan to the place where John had been
baptising in the early days. Here he stayed and many people came
to him. They said, Though John never performed a miraculous sign,
all that John said about this man was true.
And in that
place many believed in Jesus.
Reflection:
The Jews again picked up rocks to stone him. Dear brothers and
sisters we are very near to Easter, but before the resurrection
Jesus had under gone a deep pain full movements in his life. He
came to this world to proclaim the kingdom of God, each movement
he was working on it, but the result is pain full and
misunderstanding. This insight may give deep orientation in our
life, sometimes our good work people can not understand but be
courage and strong, Jesus is alive.

John
5.1-17
Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for a feast of the
Jews. Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which
in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five
covered colonnades. Here a great number of disabled people used to
lie- the blind, the lame, the paralysed. One who was there had
been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying
there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long
time, he asked him, Do you want to get well? Sir, the invalid
replied, I have no-one to help me into the pool when the water is
stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead
of me. Then Jesus said to him, Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.
At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. The
day on which this took place was a Sabbath, and so the Jews said
to the man who had been healed, It is the Sabbath; the law forbids
you to carry your mat. But he replied, The man who made me well
said to me, 'Pick up your mat and walk.' So they asked him, Who is
this fellow who told you to pick it up and walk? The man who was
healed had no idea who it was, for Jesus had slipped away into the
crowd that was there. Later Jesus found him at the temple and said
to him, See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse
may happen to you. The man went away and told the Jews that it was
Jesus who had made him well.
So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jews
persecuted him. Jesus said to them, My Father is always at his
work to this very day, and I, too, am working.
Reflection:
Dear loving brothers and sisters,
Jesus is source of all blessing and healing. When we come near to
Him we all experience his mighty healing in our life. A man was
there who had been ill for thirty-eight years. He had been for a
long time waiting for healing, really he had very much inner wound
also-he said: I have no one to help me. Jesus healed him not only
physical healing but inner healing also. We can ask for the
healing, then our life become more joyful and peaceful.

John
6.1-14
Some time after
this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that
is, the Sea of Tiberias), and a great crowd of people followed him
because they saw the miraculous signs he had performed on the
sick. Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his
disciples. The Jewish Passover Feast was near. When Jesus looked
up and saw a great crowd coming towards him, he said to Philip,
Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat? He asked this
only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to
do. Philip answered him, Eight months' wages would not buy enough
bread for each one to have a bite! Another of his disciples,
Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, spoke up, Here is a boy with five
small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go
among so many? Jesus said, Make the people sit down. There was
plenty of grass in that place, and the men sat down, about five
thousand of them. Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and
distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He
did the same with the fish. When they had all had enough to eat,
he said to his disciples, Gather the pieces that are left over.
Let nothing be wasted. So they gathered them and filled twelve
baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by
those who had eaten. After the people saw the miraculous sign that
Jesus did, they began to say, Surely this is the Prophet who is to
come into the world.
Reflection:
Jesus is so compassionate for all people. It is very clear from
the bible words. Five thousand people and five bread. Jesus made
miracle for that. The empty situation Jesus made miracle. We can
look our life.
Maybe everything is empty-so we can believe that God can make
miracle in the situation.
The disciples bring the five bread and two fish (only they have)
so we can bring what we have -our little faith and ask him to make
miracle on it, believe -prayer can move the mountains.

of the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to
see him, since Jesus was coming that way. When Jesus reached the
spot, he looked up and said to him, Zacchaeus, come down
immediately. I must stay at your house today. So he came down at
once and welcomed him gladly. All the people saw this and began to
mutter, He has gone to be the guest of a 'sinner'. But Zacchaeus
stood up and said to the Lord, Look, Lord! Here and now I give
half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody
out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount. Jesus said
to him, Today salvation has come to this house, because this man,

will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or
three come together in my name, there am I with them.
Reflection:
Jesus word is always encouraging in your prayer meeting. "For
where two or three come together in my name I am there with them."
So in all our prayer meeting is a wonderful presence of God. Jesus
is our beloved guest of our prayer meeting. He will bless us and
help us in a special way. We can make our prayer meeting with full
of happy and joy.
Wish you a pleasant prayer meeting.

Luke 19.1-10
Jesus entered
Jericho and was passing through. A man was there by the name of
Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted
to see who Jesus was, but being a short man he could not, because
of the crowd.
Jesus said
to him, Today salvation has come to this house, because this man,
too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to
save what was lost.
Reflection:
This bible passages give us a beautiful explanation that how an
ordinary man get a wonderful God experience in his life. Zachaus
was an ordinary man together with many weakness. He was very
little man, not good behaviour in his duty, but he was very much
wished to see Jesus, his deeps wish in his heart he did many
practical things: - he climbed on a sycamore tree. He heard Jesus
voice “to hurry down” he obeyed it.
Jesus is also telling us to hurry down. We all have our own tree.
May be its our worry or our anxious, or our proud? We can ask the
grace from heaven to renew our life in a better way.
I wish you a fruitful prayer meeting.

Luke 11.27-28
As Jesus was
saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, Blessed is
the mother who gave you birth and nursed you. He replied, Blessed
rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.
Reflection:
My dear loving brothers and sisters,
we all are searching for the true Happiness for the life. It is
very important for our life. We all have many concept of happiness
and also we have many view point that how to get true happiness.
Sometimes our point is not correct for the true happiness. One
woman told to Jesus “How happy is the woman who bore you and
nursed you, but Jesus answered “Rather how happy are those who
hear the word of God and obey it. By Jesus word it very clears how
we can achieve the true happiness. So our prayer group and bible
reading is very necessary to receive the true joy and happiness.
So don’t forget one important word that Jesus said “obey the word
of God”.
I wish you a pleasant prayer meeting with much blessing.

John 19.31-37
Now it was the day of Preparation,
and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jews did
not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they
asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down.
The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man
who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other.
But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead,
they did not break his legs. Instead, one of the soldiers pierced
Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and
water. The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony
is true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so
that you also may believe. These things happened so that the
scripture would be fulfilled: Not one of his bones will be broken,
and, as another scripture says, They will look on the one they
have pierced.
Reflection:
SACRED HEART OF JESUS
Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus came into the Catholic
faith through a Catholic sister known as Saint Margaret Mary
Alacoque (1647-1690). At the age of 24, Margaret Mary entered the
Visitation convent At Paray-le-Monial in France. She began to have
visions of Our Lord and on December 27, 1673, on the Feast of St.
John, she began to have visions that Lasted for eighteen months.
Jesus told her that she was to become his instrument in spreading
devotion to His Sacred Heart. While kneeling before the Blessed
Sacrament, Our Lord appeared to her and invited her to "Rest a
long time on His Divine Breast". Jesus revealed to her the marvels
of the love that His Sacred Heart had for mankind.
Jesus said to her: "MY DIVINE HEART IS SO FULL OF LOVE FOR MEN
AND FOR YOU IN PARTICULAR THAT, NO LONGER ABLE TO CONTAIN WITHIN
ITSELF THE FLAMES OF ITS BURNING CHARITY, IT MUST SPREAD THESE
FLAMES BY MEANS OF YOU, AND IT MUST MANIFEST ITSELF TO MEN IN
ORDER TO ENRICH THEM WITH ITS PRECIOUS TREASURES. I HAVE CHOSEN
YOU TO ACHIEVE THIS GRAND CRUSADE OF LOVE."
Saint Margaret Mary had frequent visions of the Sacred Heart
of Jesus. According to Saint Margaret Mary, His Divine Heart was
"more radiant than the sun and as transparent as crystal," with
its adorable wound visible, and as a "furnace" of burning flames.
In June, 1675: during the feast of Corpus Christi, while
praying before Our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the
Monstrance. Our Lord revealed His Heart to her and said: "HERE IS
THE HEART THAT HAS SO LOVED MEN AS TO SPARE NOTHING FOR THEM,
EXHAUSTING AND CONSUMING ITSELF IN ORDER TO PROVE ITS LOVE FOR
THEM; AND IN RETURN I RECEIVE, FROM MOST OF THEM, ONLY
INGRATITUDE."
Jesus asked her to have a special feast established in honour
of His Sacred Heart on the Friday After the feast of Corpus
Christi. Jesus asked his followers to receive Holy Communion on
that day and to make atonement for the sins of the world by an act
of Reparation.
Jesus asked her to have an image made of His Sacred Heart and
to have it promoted throughout the world with special promises to
those souls who would Display His image of His Sacred Heart.
She consulted with her enlightened spiritual Director whom God
had given her. On the following Friday, June 21, Father de la
Colombiere, her priest-director, and Saint Margaret Mary
consecrated Themselves to the Sacred Heart. With great sufferings
and humiliations, Father de la Colombiere and Saint Margaret Mary
made every effort to spread the new Devotion to the Sacred Heart
of Jesus. The Lord Jesus revealed to Saint Margaret Mary the
following promises to those souls who would honour the Most Sacred
Heart of Jesus:
1. I will give them all the graces necessary in their State of
life.
2. I will establish peace in their homes.
3. I will comfort them in all their afflictions.
4. I will be their secure refuge during life and Above all in
death.
5. I will bestow a large blessing upon all their Undertakings.
6. Sinners shall find in My Heart the source and the Infinite
ocean of mercy.
7. Tepid souls shall grow fervent.
8. Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high Perfection.
9. I will bless every place where a picture of My Heart shall be
set up and honoured.
10. I will give to priests the gift of touching the Most hardened
hearts.
11. Those who shall promote this devotion shall have their names
written in My Heart, never to be blotted out.
12. I promise you in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My
all-powerful love will grant to all those who communicate on the
first Friday in nine consecutive months, the grace of final
perseverance; they shall not die in My disgrace nor without
receiving their Sacraments; My Divine Heart shall be their safe
refuge In this last moment."

John 20.24-29
Now Thomas (called
Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus
came. So the other disciples told him, We have seen the Lord! But
he said to them, Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put
my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I
will not believe it. A week later his disciples were in the house
again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked,
Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace be with you! Then
he said to Thomas, Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out
your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.
Thomas said to him, My Lord and my God! Then Jesus told him,
Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who
have not seen and yet have believed.
Reflection:
St. Thomas always called “the doubter” when he was the only
apostle who eventually made the clearest profession of faith “My
Lord and my God”. When
Jesus proceed to dangerous Jerusalem Thomas invited the other
disciples
“Come let us go along to die with him” (john 11.16) During the
Last supper he was honest enough to tell his Master “Lord, we
don’t know where you are
going, how we know the way (john 14.5)
In 1972, Pope Paul VI proclaimed Thomas the patron saint of India.
Thomas passed through the darkness of doubt to a deep faith in the
Risen Lord and became the credible witness of Christ’s
resurrection. He can lead
us to Christ and to an honest profession of faith.

Bible word
Mathew 22.34-40
Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees,
the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law,
tested him with this question: Teacher, which is the greatest
commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God
with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your
mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the
second is like it: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.' All the
Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
Reflection:
My dear loving brothers and sisters,
today’s reflection is based on the commandment. The deep spirit
of the commandment is Love, to love God and to love others. I
would like say the love has different colour, heavenly colour,
selfish colour, material colour, pleasure seeking love etc.
Jesus came to this world to fulfil the heavenly colourful love,
we can look the relevant of the heavenly colourful love:
(1) it is unconditional,
(2) it is compassionate
(3) everlasting love
(4) caring love
(5) self-giving love.
If my journey to the kingdom may fulfil only when we experience
the heavenly love, it is like a water for the tree, or gasoline
for the car, we can ask the special grace of the heavenly love
in our life, when our loving God filling the heavenly love in
our heart we can easily love God and others with unconditional
love.
Wish you a glad prayer meeting with loving presence of God.

Mathew 25.1-13
At that time the kingdom of heaven
will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to
meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were
wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil
with them. The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their
lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all
became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's
the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!' Then all the virgins woke
up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give
us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.' 'No,' they
replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead,
go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.' But while
they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived.
The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding
banquet. And the door was shut. Later the others also came.
'Sir! Sir!' they said. 'Open the door for us!' But he replied,
'I tell you the truth, I don't know you.' Therefore keep watch,
because you do not know the day or the hour.
Reflection:
My dear loving brothers and sisters,
today’s bible words give us the beautiful reflection for our
life. “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who
took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of
them were foolish and five were wise” the difference between the
wise and foolish. The wise who have oil with the lamps and
foolish have no oil with the lamps. Both of them waiting were
for the bridegroom. By this bible words Jesus is going to
indicate a very clear message for all the people, the message is
that we are all one day before the God, the oil is our good
deeds to others, in the earth we have sufficient time for doing
the good for others, today when I was reading the news paper
from India, one news very much touched my heart, a rich man the
day of her daughter marriage he helped 29 other poor girls to
have a family, he arranged the marriage celebration, etc. We can
ask the grace of God, to do more good things for others, then we
have a oil and we are wise too.
I wish you pleasant prayer meeting with much blessing.

John 15.1-10
I am the true vine, and my Father is the
gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit,
while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it
will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the
word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in
you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the
vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am
the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in
him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do
nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch
that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up,
thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my
words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given
you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit,
showing yourselves to be my disciples. As the Father has loved
me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my
commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my
Father's commands and remain in his love.
Reflection:
My dear loving
brothers and sisters in Christ,
Jesus empowering words will always give more courage and
strength in our life, Bible words has healing power and at the
same time it has deep changing power form the darkness to the
light. Jesus said I am the wine tree and you are the branches,
how deep connection the branches and wine tree. Connection-it is
deep word for our spiritual life to be always connected with
Jesus and the kingdom of God, some time we loose the connection,
the result is very clear we become powerless. No power in side,
no joy inside, when we connect with our life to Jesus, of course
the fruit is very quite sure. If we are far away from the Jesus
always we have a dry experience. Only one solution to be
connected with Jesus, how we can always to be connected with
Jesus, by prayer, Holy mass, adoration and Rosary are the best
means to connect with the kingdom of God. Jesus said we are the
branches, of course a branch must know some times the cutting
experience will come. Actually it is not a cutting experience it
is pruning experience, a person more near to Jesus he or she can
understand it not a cutting experience but it is pruning
experience. Some years before I wrote an article in christen
magazine the title is “pruning experience” I was very deeply
explaining the cutting experience that our Lord can make the
pruning experience. after some days later I got a letter from
the nursing student she wrote to me “P. Joseph thanks for your
article, I got a very bad note in the school, so I decided to
end my life, but at that day I read your article which come from
the magazine I changed my mind, by the article Jesus saved my
life prise the lord”
My dear brothers
and sisters God may bless you and loving Jesus may change your
cutting experience in to pruning experience, in Kana He changed
water in to wine, of course believe and trust in Him he will
change the situation, prise the lord.

you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am
gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your
souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Reflection:
Jesus says to everybody: “come to me those who carrying heavy
loads I will give you rest.” Very deep tenderly love we can see
in this words. No any other place only near Jesus. Some times we
will have some doubt and we ask questions too. Where is God and
where is God’s love? I would like to share with one touching
incidents which I read few days before. A prayer group leader
who is going with five year girl to the vacation, he was deeply
pain in his heart because some days before his loving wife died.
To forget the deep pain in his heart he decided to go faraway
for the vacation and have long ship journey. During the ship
journey the day Sunday the captain of ship asked him can you
make the prayer secession for the passengers and to give some
words for God’s love. For him it was little difficult to speak
about the God’s love because of the incident happened in his
life, but he spoke about the God’s love with the painful mind.
After the sermon, his five year old girl asked him papa how you
can tell the people God’s love because our mama already died.
Papa was thinking the right answer for his daughter, finally he
took her in the top of the ship and said her look the sky, God’s
love is like that it is so wide. Look the sea God’s love is very
deep, look the stars, God’s love is very much shining, and very
soon the little daughter answered to the papa: “Now I understand
that we are the middle of the God’s love.
My dear brothers and sisters, this thinking will help our life
very much, even though we have pain and trials let us keep
always in our mind.“ We are the middle of God’s love.

Luke 10.25-37
On
one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus.
Teacher, he asked, what must I do to inherit eternal life? What
is written in the Law? he replied. How do you read it? He
answered: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your strength and with all your
mind'; and, 'Love your neighbour as yourself.' You have answered
correctly, Jesus replied. Do this and you will live. But he
wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, And who is my
neighbour? In reply Jesus said: A man was going down from
Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers.
They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away,
leaving him half-dead. A priest happened to be going down the
same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other
side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him,
passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he travelled,
came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on
him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and
wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an
inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two silver
coins and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said,
'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense
you may have.' Which of these three do you think was a neighbour
to the man who fell into the hands of robbers? The expert in the
law replied, The one who had mercy on him. Jesus told him, Go
and do likewise.
Reflection:
We all have the special call to be a “good Samaritan”. The bible
we can see this special call for everybody. Jesus said to love
your God with full strength and your neighbour to the same
manner. We are very happy that somebody listening to us with out
judgement, or helping us unconditional way. It will be a
tremendous experience, we keep them in our heart, mind and our
prayers, it means we are living not only this earth alone but
the others heart too, it is so amazing feeling that we have
place in somebody’s heart.
Only one way is to be good for others. Recently one article I
red the magazine, an old man was sitting the road side, he need
some help, he seems to be sick too, that road near the desert so
somebody told them only four people will go in that day by this
road, perhaps someone will help you, he was waiting for a long
time, one person came he looked at his eyes he didn’t ask any
help, the second and third person also go with that road he
looked at him, but he didn’t ask the help, the forth one came he
looked at the eyes and ask the help, the forth man asked him,
why you dint ask the help for others those who already passed
this way, how you have sure that I will help you, the old man
answered “ when they came I looked their eyes I haven’t seen any
love and concern in their eyes so I dint ask the help, because I
know they will not help me, when you came I looked your eyes
then I saw the love and concern in your eyes so I am sure that
you will help me. My dear loving brothers and sisters, we can
ask for the grace to have the good mind for others, then we can
be a good Samaritan for others.

My dear loving brothers and sisters in Christ, these bible words
always give me very much power and inspiration. Jesus says I
will answer your prayers. It is very clearly two points are very
much highlighted
(1) you are remaining me
(2) whatever you ask.
Many times we are forgetting the first part, so that many of our
prayers are not answering. I would like to share two experience
this week I have God answered the prayers. One last days in
September 28, it was a great typhoon in Philippines, already the
radio and TV announced it, it is signal no3, it was very strong,
and dangerous. In September 27 in my house we have a prayer
meeting, we prayed for the miracle of God, so 28 it was very
strong typhoon, nobody can go out because of the powerful storm,
so my village no dangerous happened very much protected and
other aria is very much damaged many trees fall down about 90
people died also, about 6000 people evacuated. God is good he
will answer my prayers.
And another example, one of my friend who is staying in Europe.
He had the problem for 5 years about the job. I told him trust
and pray to Jesus, last days he telephoned me with a happy mood,
he had already good and per meant job.
So my dear brothers and sisters, we can remain in him and we can

according to our life situation, for example if we have

if we have sickness, we say health is the treasure, but the
right answer is that “Jesus and his words are my treasures”. All
other treasure cab be broken, only God is the source of our

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in
the same way as you judge others, you will be judged, and with
the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look
at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no
attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your
brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the
time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take
the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to
remove the speck from your brother's eye.
Reflection:
My dear
loving brothers and sisters,
Jesus is telling us stop judging others, in our daily life, many
time we are judging others, actually we did not know exactly
the truth, we look in our own eyes. The reality is that no one
is fully perfect and no one is fully wrong. If we look our life
we can observe that we are making mistakes many times, then how
we can make judgment others. One thing we can do in our daily
life, try to be more good, friendly and spiritual, and
practically what we can make try to find good in others, then
our life will be more peaceful, others too.

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt
loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no

be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a
bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to
everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine
before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your
Father in heaven.
Reflection:
My dear loving brothers and sisters,
we all know that salt and light is very important.
Salt will make food more taste, every body like tasty food, but
when we eat the food we didn’t know where the salt is. Like our
life if we have good life it make others life happy and our
personal life too. If we are not happy in our personal life we
can not bring happiness to others, so it is very necessary to
have happiness or salt in our life, because of many things
happened in our life we may lost our salt in our life, but God
can give the salt again in our life. Trust in Him, Jesus said I

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and
asked, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? He called a
little child and had him stand among them. And he said: I tell
you the truth, unless you change and become like little
children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore,
whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the
kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this
in my name welcomes me.
Reflection:
My dear loving
brothers and sisters in Christ,
Jesus saying to us “you change and become like a child”. Jesus
wants a change in our life, our way of looking, thinking etc.
Everybody wish have good and positive change in our life, to
come near Jesus. HE WILL GIVE YOU A NEW HEART AND NEW MIND.
I would like to say small experience, today morning in my divine
mercy house I had a visitor, a small girl about 5 years old, she
is the daughter of my neighbouring family, she came to my house
and said “p.joseph can you bless my rosary”. I blessed the
rosary for her, then she said thank you father. She is coming
frequently for the Eucharistic flame meeting with her mamma. We
can have a deep faith and trust like children.
Wish you a
joyful prayer meeting.

Luke 10.21-24
At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy
Spirit, said, I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned,
and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was
your good pleasure. All things have been committed to me by my
Father. No-one knows who the Son is except the Father, and
no-one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom
the Son chooses to reveal him. Then he turned to his disciples
and said privately, Blessed are the eyes that see what you
see. For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see
what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but
did not hear it.
Reflection:
My dear brothers and sisters,
we are in month of December, every where we are can see many
shops which are selling many Christmas decoration and gifts too.
In my place Manila I can observe almost all the houses are
already decorated now with illuminating lights, so starts the
good mood of celebration. Today’s bible word starting Jesus
rejoiced with Holy Spirit. Of course holy sprit can bring the
true joy and happiness in our life. Why I say true happiness,
all other happiness is not lasting or permanent, only Holy
Spirit can bring the full happiness in our life. A small prayer
we can have every day in our life “come holy spirit I need you”.
I wish you a pleasant and joyful prayer meeting.

Luke 1.26-38
In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a
town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man
named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was
Mary. The angel went to her and said, Greetings, you who are
highly favoured! The Lord is with you. Mary was greatly troubled
at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might
be. But the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, you have
found favour with God. You will be with child and give birth to
a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great
and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will
give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over
the house of Jacob for ever; his kingdom will never end. How
will this be, Mary asked the angel, since I am a virgin? The
angel answered, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the
power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to
be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your
relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who
was said to be barren is in her sixth month. For nothing is
impossible with God. I am the Lord's servant, Mary answered. May
it be to me as you have said. Then the angel left her.
Reflection:
My dear loving brothers and sisters in Christ,
I would like to wish you the Immaculate Conception our Mother
Mary.
The immaculate conception we can see the great work of the Holy
Spirit. The angel came near Mother Mary and said to her “Don’t
be afraid, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son called
Jesus”. Mary asked how it will happen? The Angel answered to her
“the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and the power of the most high
will overshadow you”. Holy Spirit is the answer, perhaps we have
many questions in our life but try to believe in God and depend
on the power of the Holy Spirit, it will be an answer and
solution.
I would like to say one small example recently happened in my
life, I was planning a permission to my provincial superior,
something connected with my future evangelization, I was praying
to God please give me the right time or good sign for that. The
next day when I open my computer I have letter from my
provincial superior asking me if I need any permission for my
future please write to him.
God is so alive and Holy Spirit is so powerful.
I wish you pleasant prayer meeting.
Mother Mary may help you and your family.

Mathew 11.28-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give
you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am
gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your
souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Reflection:
My dear brothers and sisters,
Jesus invites us “Come to me, I will give rest for you.” These
words bring much happiness and peace in our mind, if we look
into our own life most of the time we have no rest and we are
worry of many things. So we have place to go and we have a place
to put all our worries and pain to the place near Jesus. When we
trust in God and believe in him, deeply all our problems Jesus
can make in a positive way. Bible says Roma 8.28; if we love God
he will make everything in our betterment.
I would like to share a small thing to you. Few days before I
want to write some important emails, but there was a problem in
my internet, actually it is not pleasing to me, and then very
soon I thought this bible words, God will make everything for
our betterment. After that I went to the neighbouring family for
writing the email, they told me P. Joseph this evening one
bishop is visiting our house please join us for dinner and
chance to meet the bishop too. So the evening I went to the
house and dinner together with the bishop and we spoke about
many spiritual things and he gave the blessing also for me. I am
thinking because of the internet problem helped me to get the
blessing from the bishop.
So my dear brothers and sisters whatever happens in our life
believe and trust in God, he can make everything in a perfect
way.
I wish you a joyful prayer meeting

Bible word
John 1.1-18
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the
beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing
was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was
the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the
darkness has not understood it. There came a man who was sent
from God; his name was John. He came as a witness to testify
concerning that light, so that through him all men might
believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness
to the light. The true light that gives light to every man was
coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world
was made through him, the world did not recognise him. He came
to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet
to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he
gave the right to become children of God- children born not of
natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but
born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among
us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who
came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John testifies
concerning him. He cries out, saying, This was he of whom I
said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was
before me.' From the fulness of his grace we have all received
one blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses;
grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No-one has ever seen
God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has
made him known.
Reflection:
I wish you a happy Christmas.
Today I was thinking what message I would like to give my prayer
groups. Very soon the idea came from my mind, take the word
“Christmas”. From this word itself God wants to speak something.
C = CHRIST
H = HEART
R = REWARD
I = MYSELF
S = SALVATION
M = MOTHER MARY
A = ALL
S = SOURCE
“Christ is the source of reward for all”
“My heart is to be prepared for Jesus.”
“Mother Mary prepared her heart for Jesus”
“God is with us”
“Salvation for all”

Mathew 2.13-18
When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a
dream. Get up, he said, take the child and his mother and escape
to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to
search for the child to kill him. So he got up, took the child
and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, where he
stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the
Lord had said through the prophet: Out of Egypt I called my son.
When Herod realised that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he
was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in
Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in
accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi. Then what
was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled: A voice is
heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for
her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no
more.
Reflection:
My dear loving brothers and sisters,
we are in a good mood of Christmas and New Year. How we can keep
this good mood in our heart all the time? To be with Jesus, but
keep in mind to be with Jesus is some times difficult, and pain,
but it will bring everlasting happiness. The bible clearly
speaks “the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and
said “Rise, take the child and his mother, flee to Egypt”. Here
we can see our beloved St. Joseph without asking any question
obey the message. So I would like to tell you, take the pain
which we have and look it in a positive way, and ask Jesus grow
in me.
Wish you a pleasant prayer meeting and a happy new year.
Your loving brother in Christ
